Knicks Acquire Sergio Llull’s Draft Rights In Austin Rivers Sign-And-Trade With Rockets

The New York Knicks have acquired the draft rights to Sergio Llull, Tadija Dragicevic and Alex Hervelle as part of an Austin Rivers sign-and-trade.

The Knicks sent the draft rights to Issuf Sanon to the Rockets.

Llull’s current contract with Real Madrid expires after the current season but he hasn’t shown any interest in moving to the NBA.

Llull was the 34th overall pick in the 2009 draft and just turned 33. The Rockets bought his draft rights for $2.25 million.

The Rockets nearly signed Llull in 2015 with an offer of nearly $24 million.
