Kings Made Trade Deadline Offer To Lakers For Kyle Kuzma

The Los Angeles Lakers are pursuing a sign-and-trade for Bogdan Bogdanovic with the Atlanta Hawks believed to be the other most realistic suitor.

The Sacramento Kings can match any offer sheet Bogdanovic signs with a team possessing cap space such as the Hawks, or they can facilitate a sign-and-trade.

The Kings had trade talks with the Lakers at the deadline centered on Kyle Kuzma by offering Nemanja Bjelica and a pick. The Lakers countered by asking for Bogdanovic. Luke Walton previously coached Kuzma with the Lakers.

The Lakers are likely pursuing parallel paths between re-signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and a sign-and-trade for Bogdanovic.

Sources say the Hawks are considered the favorites to sign Bogdanovic.
