With ten games of the NBA season once in the books, people are once talking well-nigh the MVP race and whatnot.

There’s still plenty of basketball to be played, but judging by the early season, former NBA player Jay Williams made his way-too-early picks for MVP.

In the latest edition of ESPN’s Get Up, Williams stated that the MVP ribbon is currently between Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum.

He argued that the Boston Celtics are playing like the weightier team in the league right now, and with Jayson Tatum operating in the pick and roll and elevating his game, he should be the leading candidate to take home the award.

Truth be told, Tatum has been playing at a stellar level, and he’s flirted with MVP contention for quite a while now, so he’s not an odd nomination to get the award.

Then again, Williams is ignoring the fact that the reigning Finals MVP — who moreover happens to be a two-time MVP — has led his team to a 9-2 record — the weightier in the West and tied for the weightier in the league.

Nikola Jokic is once then posting video game-like numbers, leading his team to success without their second weightier player considering of Jamal Murray’s injury.

At this point, it just seems like Jokic and the Denver Nuggets are never going to get the media’s respect or recognition.

What else do they have to do for them to talk well-nigh them? He’s literally averaging 30 points and 13 boards with 8 assists as a center.
