During the summer, the Boston Celtics were unswayable to modernize their roster in any way that they could, with the storied franchise willing to make multiple trades in order to take one step closer to winning a championship.

The first deal the team made was a game-changer, with the Celtics acquiring veteran scorer Kristaps Porzingis from the Washington Wizards, giving the team flipside offensive weapon withal with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

Even though bringing in Porzingis, who was coming off one of the weightier years of his career, was a move in the right direction for Boston, there’s unchangingly snooping well-nigh the health of the 28-year-old from Latvia.

Despite his obvious talent to be a gravity to be reckoned with offensively, Porzingis has struggled to stay healthy throughout his unshortened NBA career thus far.

It appears those injury concerns might be starting to surface for the seven-footer, as he’s currently dealing with a knee contusion that has him listed as questionable for the upcoming heavyweight showdown with the Philadelphia 76ers, equal to Jay King of The Athletic.

The head-to-head matchup with the 76ers will be a statement game for both teams, as they sit at No. 1 and No. 2 in the Eastern Conference standings right now.

One of the two losses the Celtics have suffered this season came versus the 76ers, who are arguably the hottest team in the NBA right now, plane though they recently traded superstar baby-sit James Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Porzingis will be sorely missed in this game if he can’t go on Wednesday in Philadelphia.
