The Boston Celtics have one of the weightier young players in the game right now.

Even though some still think he has steps to take to be considered a legit superstar, Jayson Tatum is one of the most promising guys in the league.

At least, that’s how NFL legend Randy Moss tends to think, as he recently gifted Tatum a signed jersey with some memorabilia (via Tatum and ClutchPoints).

Notably, people in Boston loved to watch Moss dominate during his days in New England, and those very same fans are now rooting for No. 0.

The Celtics were one of the most zippy teams in negotiations this offseason.

They traded for Kristaps Porzingis and then doubled lanugo on it by moreover acquiring Jrue Holiday.

Losing Marcus Smart, Robert Williams III, and Grant Williams could be a big wrack-up to Joe Mazzulla’s rotation.

But there’s simply no increasingly room for excuses in Boston anymore; it’s time to get the job washed-up once and for all.

This will be a crucial season for Tatum, who will be eligible to sign a supermax contract extension next offseason.

The Celtics could commit north of $600 million to just two players, as they have once signed Jaylen Brown to the largest extension in league history.

There are still some doubts well-nigh their worthiness to coexist and win together, and if they goof to get over the hump with this new and revamped supporting cast, it might be time to consider breaking them up once and for all.
