Jayson Tatum, More Celtics Attended Marcus Smart’s Wedding

Marcus Smart may not be a member of the Boston Celtics anymore but that doesn’t midpoint he isn’t still tropical friends with people inside that team.

Over the weekend, Smart married Maisa Hallum and it was quite an event, featuring a number of NBA icons.

An image making the rounds online, shared by Cameron Tabatabaie on Twitter, shows Smart’s old teammate Jayson Tatum slantingly throne mentor Joe Mazzulla and unstipulated manager Brad Stevens.

Their fun photo proves that the wedding was a wonderfully good time.

Others, such as Jaylen Brown and Derrick White, moreover attended the nuptials.

Up until a few weeks ago, the Celtics were the only team Smart overly played for.

Since 2014, he has been one of the team’s toughest and most important players.

He has averaged 10.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists during his nine years in the league.

He has at times been a clutch three-point shooter and unchangingly a strong defender.

In fact, he earned the 2021-22 Defensive Player of the Year award, a rare feat for a guard.

But he is not going to be suited up in untried when the new season kicks off in a few weeks.

Smart was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in the offseason, a radical move that shocked – and upset – some fans.

While the Celtics received big man Kristaps Porzingis in return for Smart as part of that three-team deal, some aren’t sure it’ll be an plane exchange.

They say that Smart provided so much for the team and it won’t be easy to fill his shoes.

Regardless of how things go for the Celtics, Smart, and the Grizzlies in the new season, it’s good to see that everyone will remain friends.
