The Boston Celtics pulled off a huge win, all things considered.

Not only were they worldly-wise to get when at the Philadelphia 76ers without an early-season loss, but they moreover managed to do it lanugo two key guys, as Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis missed the game.

Needless to say, it took a team effort to get the double-digit win over their hardnosed rivals.

However, one of the guys who stood out the most was none other than the ever-young Al Horford, who played peerage defense on Joel Embiid and finished the night with 14 points, four three-pointers, eight rebounds, and a whopping five blocks.

That’s why, pursuit the game, Celtics star Jayson Tatum showered his veteran friend with praise, talking well-nigh the huge impact he makes on both ends of the floor, and plane whereas he’s unquestionably his all-time favorite NBA teammate (via Celtics on NBC Sports Boston).

Truth be told, it’s nonflexible not to like a guy like Horford, a true leader on and off the court, and the kind of player who would do whatever it takes to help his team win.

Horford became a fan favorite in Boston right away, and that hasn’t reverted over time.

He can start or come off the bench, play big minutes, or barely leave the bench, and he’s never going to mutter well-nigh whichever role he’s asked to play.

That’s the kind of leader every locker room needs, and his impact is going to be plane increasingly crucial now that Marcus Smart is no longer there.
