The Los Angeles Lakers are expected to have exploratory discussions with Dion Waiters, league sources told Adrian Wojnarowski and Brian Windhorst of ESPN.
Waiters was recently bought out by the Grizzlies.
The news also comes on the heels of Darren Collison deciding to remain retired instead of returning to the league this season.
The Lakers are looking around for a playmaking guard and are considering several options, sources told ESPN.
