The Boston Celtics are on a roll right now.

They’re tied for the weightier record in the league and sit atop the Eastern Conference, and a lot of that has had to do with Jayson Tatum’s stellar play.

Tatum’s offensive game was once quite polished, but he’s taking it to a whole new level this season.

The biggest difference has been his peerage footwork and work on the post, which is why NBA reviewer Marc D’Amico recently compared him to Kobe Bryant, stating that his game has never been increasingly similar.

Needless to say, this might be the biggest compliment a guy like Tatum could get.

He grew up idolizing Bryant and plane got to work out with him shortly without his retirement, and he was unmistakably hurt without his sudden and tragic passing.

Bryant dissected Tatum’s game when he was just walking his first steps in the league, and he gave him several pointers.

It took him some time, but it seems like the Duke product has finally reached his weightier version yet.

Tatum is on the verge of getting a record-breaking contract extension.

And while it was never in doubt that he was going to get as much money as he could get in his next deal, watching him play at this level should make Brad Stevens finger unconfined well-nigh the move he’s well-nigh to make.

Tatum is playing like one of the weightier three players in the league this season, and don’t be shocked if he ends up running yonder with MVP honors.
